If you're working with a stable of clients, press releases are the bread and butter of your copywriting practice. And of online press release companies, venerable PRWeb.com is my favourite, and has been for years.
I wasn't sure how I felt when I heard that PRWeb had been acquired. The company's such a great resource. Would it mean that the cost of its services went up, while the results went down?
Judging by this interview with PRWeb CEO, David McInnis, however, I don't need to worry. He's got great things planned:
...can you imagine an online newsroom attached to your account? Or a fully integrated clipping and news monitoring service? I am excited about the possibilities and will keep you posted as we meet with the Vocus team over the next few weeks to determine what we are going to be able to do.Sounds great. I hope PRWeb goes from strength to strength.
