Downtime is necessary after a long writing project
Creativity is a cycle.
The longer you write, the more you'll become aware of this up and down movement of energy. For new writers, it's disconcerting to feel completely listless and flat after intense creativity. However, it's necessary to allow yourself time to recharge.
At those times you feel as if you never want to write anything ever again, relax. Tell yourself you're not writing, and that's fine.
If I've been writing intensely for a month or two, I indulge in reading binges. I'll read a book a day for a week. :-) Other writers go on vacation. Do whatever seems fun for you, and don't obsess about writing.
If you've got deadlines during your down times, try to get an extension. If this isn't possible, keep working. You'll get a second wind, but you'll find that if you force yourself in this way, your creative recovery will take longer.
